About Me

My photo
Where do I begin? I guess At the beginning! I live in beautiful Tasmania, Australia with my wonderful hubby, Matthew and our four angels (part time devils) Isaac, Reuben, Isabella, and Charlotte. Currently I'm a stay-at-home mum and I absolutely love that. Nothing else compares. I'm also studying the Master of Teaching part-time and I'm serving as the relief society president of our ward. I love being outside, especially in summer. I love big windows & lots of light. I love swimming, running and mowing the lawn! my favourite vegetable is carrots (or potatoes if mum's baked them) and I love fresh fruit salad. My most favourite thing to do is spend time with my precious family.

Beach

A little while ago we decided that Sunday afternoons would be a good time to do a bit of sight seeing, so to speak. So for the last couple of months we have been going on a few 'field trips'. This past Sunday was a beautiful winter's day so we head out to Seven mile beach. Ma and Pa came too. I've almost finished my adult ed class now so I thought it might be a good opportunity to practice what I've learnt. Most of my photos were a bit crap but I do have some I like.

When we got there the tide was right in so there was hardly any beach. We still had a fun afternoon though.

Your photos are NOT CRAP !!!!!!!
They are stunningly beautiful. Love all of them so much I can't pick out any favourites. Maybe the one of you and Matt? Yes. I think so.

Your photos look so good Blanche! You obviously learnt a lot in your class. Wish we had one that we could do up here - they don't have anything just to learn stuff on SLR's. I love the first photo especially.

Thanks guys!

Lisa, my class was for any digital camera that has a manual option. Some had SLR some had hybrid and others were regular compact digital cameras. It was helpful to learn how the camera works and what the other settings do and how to manipulate them. I'm sure you could do an online one?? Ask Chelsea about the 'two peas in a bucket' one.
