About Me

My photo
Where do I begin? I guess At the beginning! I live in beautiful Tasmania, Australia with my wonderful hubby, Matthew and our four angels (part time devils) Isaac, Reuben, Isabella, and Charlotte. Currently I'm a stay-at-home mum and I absolutely love that. Nothing else compares. I'm also studying the Master of Teaching part-time and I'm serving as the relief society president of our ward. I love being outside, especially in summer. I love big windows & lots of light. I love swimming, running and mowing the lawn! my favourite vegetable is carrots (or potatoes if mum's baked them) and I love fresh fruit salad. My most favourite thing to do is spend time with my precious family.

I SPY...

...with my little eye
something beginning with H and C.

Can you see them???

After church today Hattie came to play with Charlotte.  They had a great time together and thought it was fabulous when I said it was ok to get ALL of the dress-ups out.
They are so alike these two little free spirits and together they can get up to some mischief but they are great buddies.  I think Isaac had just as much fun today standing outside the room listening to their make-believe playing and the polished AMERICAN ACCENTS!!!
They are so funny :0)

Mother's Day

I know I'm a bit late adding this post but oh well...

Matt, Isaac and I were in Melbourne on Mother's Day so in our family we celebrated it on the Thursday before.

 I was very spoilt with:

chocolates

beautiful arts
and crafts

handmade cards

and a Wii (+ wii fit) !!  I was so excited.

Hannah suggested getting a wii fit ages ago, before she left for the UK.  I had to give back the treadmill I had been babysitting and was thinking of buying my own.  Hannah said something along the lines of,  "why don't you just get a wii and wii fit, it's more interesting and cheaper."
So since then I have been hinting like crazy.  I even cut out adverts and stuck them up on the fridge.

So for two days it was awesome, heaps of fun.

Here's me on day 3.  Sprained ankle!!  NOT FUN

And I blame you Hannah!

Actually I can't wait to get back using it!!!
Thanks Beautiful Family xxxx

Black & White Day

Today is 'Black and White Day' so the kids dressed in their black & white gear and armed with a $2 coin each,  braved the windy weather here in Hobart to walk to school because it's also 'walk safely to school day'.  We actually walk to school most days because it's a handy 4km round trip - good way to keep the kids active, exercise the dog, and keep myself fit.

my man

You know it's all too often I hear about unhappy marriages, break ups and disfunctional families.  It really saddens me.  At the same time I am so happy to be in-love with my man and the the life we have made together.  Our children are such a wonderful blessing and bring so much sunshine into our home but right now,  most of all,  I feel so fortunate to have a husband who loves and cherishes me.

I love that the first time he kissed me it was...on the cheek!
I love that when we 'really' kissed it was like fireworks...and still is!
I love that he never says 'no' when I ask for a milo!
I love that he lets me put my cold feet on him in bed...every night.
I love that he loves my cooking (even when it's a new recipe that didn't quite work out)
I love that he is so patient.
I love that he sings and plays his guitar (even on the loo).
I love that he knows so much.
I love that he thinks I'm beautiful - first thing in the morning!
I love that he loves me
I love him.

Thanks for the photos Chels x
