About Me

My photo
Where do I begin? I guess At the beginning! I live in beautiful Tasmania, Australia with my wonderful hubby, Matthew and our four angels (part time devils) Isaac, Reuben, Isabella, and Charlotte. Currently I'm a stay-at-home mum and I absolutely love that. Nothing else compares. I'm also studying the Master of Teaching part-time and I'm serving as the relief society president of our ward. I love being outside, especially in summer. I love big windows & lots of light. I love swimming, running and mowing the lawn! my favourite vegetable is carrots (or potatoes if mum's baked them) and I love fresh fruit salad. My most favourite thing to do is spend time with my precious family.

Girlies

I have been borrowing a lens from Chelsea to see how I like it before I go ahead and get one of my own.
So today the girls came with me to check out some good spots
for taking photos.
We went all over the place and took heaps of pics.
They both got totally sick of it but we did manage to find some great places.
These are my favourites.

silliness makes for fun photographs

Charli and her 4 braids.

the water at the warf was like glass.

sharing a giggle

just about had enough.

sisterly love.

I also took Matt with me the other day
and I quite like these two of him

I am starting to notice the limitations of the lenses I have. They were part of the kit that came with the camera. For their price, I think they are ok but I would like a 'nicer' lens. I have done so much reading of reviews it's not funny and I've spoken to all of the camera savvy people I know. I have pretty much dedided to get a 50mm but I also like the idea of owning the 17-40mm but I'm not sure how it will perform on my 450D. Chelsea I might have to play with yours when I come over to give the 50mm back!! I wish I had stacks of $$$ so I could get both!

love the photos. You are really getting good with the camera. Equipment does make a difference but you also have to know what you are doing.

You are getting really good Blanche!!! I only have my two lenses that came with the camera when I bought them and so far they have worked okay, but lately I have been wishing I had another lense too :)

love the photos...that first one is great. looks like you know what you're doing.
we're stuck with the two lens that came with our camera a couple of years ago. would love another lens too but as you say, it all depends on the moola!...but i consider it a blessing just to have a camera to capture all the little cute things the kids do :)
you did a great job for matthew's 40...it was really nice to see everyone x
