About Me

My photo
Where do I begin? I guess At the beginning! I live in beautiful Tasmania, Australia with my wonderful hubby, Matthew and our four angels (part time devils) Isaac, Reuben, Isabella, and Charlotte. Currently I'm a stay-at-home mum and I absolutely love that. Nothing else compares. I'm also studying the Master of Teaching part-time and I'm serving as the relief society president of our ward. I love being outside, especially in summer. I love big windows & lots of light. I love swimming, running and mowing the lawn! my favourite vegetable is carrots (or potatoes if mum's baked them) and I love fresh fruit salad. My most favourite thing to do is spend time with my precious family.

Mother's Day

I know I'm a bit late adding this post but oh well...

Matt, Isaac and I were in Melbourne on Mother's Day so in our family we celebrated it on the Thursday before.

 I was very spoilt with:

chocolates

beautiful arts
and crafts

handmade cards

and a Wii (+ wii fit) !!  I was so excited.

Hannah suggested getting a wii fit ages ago, before she left for the UK.  I had to give back the treadmill I had been babysitting and was thinking of buying my own.  Hannah said something along the lines of,  "why don't you just get a wii and wii fit, it's more interesting and cheaper."
So since then I have been hinting like crazy.  I even cut out adverts and stuck them up on the fridge.

So for two days it was awesome, heaps of fun.

Here's me on day 3.  Sprained ankle!!  NOT FUN

And I blame you Hannah!

Actually I can't wait to get back using it!!!
Thanks Beautiful Family xxxx

LOL - sorry Blanche - but that is SO funny!!! No, I am sorry to hear you sprained your angle (was it doing the step routine thing?) But very excited for you getting a Wii - I can hardly even remember saying that.... but I do say a lot of things!!!!
So anyway.... you need to save your pocket money now and get 'My fitness Coach' (or leave hints for Christmas!!!) it's really good and you get the BEST workout with it!!
Hope you don't have to fight the kids off it too much!!
Miss ya xxx

yeah and I bet with the wii coach you will break your wrist - don't listen to Hannah Blanche!! That is pretty funny though. Enjoy swimming again : ) Seeing as though 'everyone' has one now, we'll have to play each other sometime - with the joy of staying in our own homes : )

Hope your ankle is better soon!!

Oops that'll slow you down a bit.
I got one too and it's proving to be quite entertaining. They all just sit and laugh at me trying to get fit.
I'd suggest we do some challenges but on second thoughts that wouldn't be fair - unless you tried it with your sprained ankle, then I might have a chance.

Oh no!!! I hope it heals fast. We love the Wii. I need to get out the Wii fit again, although it will probably pack it in as it won't believe I'm using it again!

Oh no, that's no good! Laura put me through my paces on Debbies' yesterday afternoon, which was pretty funny - I am apparently extremely unbalanced!
I can't believe you guys still walked to school this morning, it was shocking weather.
