Young Women Cultural Event

These are some photos of the wonderful young women and leaders we have here in Tassie. I am currently serving as the Stake YW President and I love it. It is pretty demanding and I am extremely busy (sometimes I think I am losing my mind in fact) but I really love being with these girls and seeing them grow and develop into beautiful women. They have great leaders who are wholeheartedly devoted to them and that really makes a difference.

Last Saturday night we had this cultural activity where each ward was assigned a country and asked to come dressed up and prepared with a 20 minute presentation. It was so entertaining and quite interesting. We learnt about local customs, religion, traditions etc. and brought the whole thing back to the 11th Article of faith which teaches us about respecting other peoples beliefs. Good fun...

Isaac recently made it into the cross country team to represent his school at the inter-school event. It was held at Geilston Bay on a blustery, icy cold day (as usual). Although he didn't get a place he certainly put in his best effort.

These guys are great friends, they spend a lot of time together and I LOVE this photo I took on our recent trip up North to watch our beloved AFL team Hawthorn play at Aurora staduim. We stayed an extra few days to do a bit of sight seeing. This is on a beach in Ulverstone.
